Mar 23: German Pool x THEi Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)🤝

German Pool recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) 🤝 to jointly promote the development of care food training and services. This collaboration centers on German Pool's "Care Food Outreach Programme," with German Pool providing systematic training covering the International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI) theory, food texture control, and practical cooking skills, aiming to cultivate more professionals with specialized expertise👩‍🍳👨‍🍳.

After completing the training, trainees will participate in outreach services, going into communities, care homes and different institutions to provide "home cooking instruction" for care meals and "home private kitchen" services by professional chefs🍲, so that more people can enjoy safe, delicious and dignified care meals even in familiar environments.

Through this program, German Pool hopes to extend care foods from restaurants to every corner of the community🏠, practicing "eating together at the same table" and truly integrating care into daily life❤️.
