Mar 28: Certificate Course on "International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI)" šŸ†

In promoting care foods, "ensuring everyone in need can eat with peace of mind" has always been our core principleā¤ļø. We actively engage with schools to cultivate more professionals from the source! This time, we held a care food course at the Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong KongĀ (Chai Wan Campus) (THEi), with 16 students participating. Through a combination of theory and practice, students gained a deeper understanding of care food preparation techniques and learned how to create safe and visually appealing dishes.

The event also featured a special guest speaker, Ronald, who provided a detailed explanation of the International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation InitiativeĀ (IDDSI). From swallowing safety and texture classification to practical testing methods, the lecture comprehensively enhanced students' professional understanding and application of care foodsšŸ’”. The aim of this course was to deepen students' understanding of care foods and promote the concept of "eating together at the same table," ensuring that care is truly integrated into every meal🄰.
